Ignoring scientific research around this topic is simply 𝘪𝘳𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦.
𝘈𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘰𝘬𝘢𝘺 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦? How can a being with so few years on this planet even 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮? Try being an impenetrable fortress, 𝘯𝘰𝘣𝘰𝘥𝘺 can get a reaction out of you 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘵. Be more mindful #RespondDontReact
Respectful parenting has got to be a form of 𝐞𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭. If you’re yelling, consider another method that’s not only more effective, but a lot less detrimental on your relationship with your child, your child’s development & frankly, your sanity.
Everything that you yell about you’re encouraging. I repeat, 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐲𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭, 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐌𝐀𝐊𝐄 𝗪𝐎𝐑𝐒𝐄!
Teach your children about emotional regulation by modeling it. If you need a moment before tackling a situation, 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘢 𝘮𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵.
If you can’t stop yelling because it’s all you know, 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘬 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘱𝘺.
Let negative parenting cycles end with you.

I’ve had to learn this the hard way! When it came to potty training, I lost my patience 𝐚 𝐥𝐨𝐭! The book of the week helped me understand that the less memorable my reaction, the better it will be for the potty training toddler.
When I changed, 𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘴𝘶𝘤𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘧𝘶𝘭 like magic!
The only time I yell now, is to protect my child from danger 🚦🏍🚗🚕🏎🚓🚙🚑🚨 & to call him when he’s across a field or something.
This is 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐝𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐲 easier said than done. But It’s never too late to evolve 🐛🦋 your kids are worth it, and so are you.
